SENATE PLANS VOTE ON BANKRUPTCY BILL

URGENT ALERT -
Wednesday, Dec. 6: It was just announced on the Senate floor that on Wednesday, December 6 from 11:00 – 5:00 p.m. there will be debate for six hours divided equally between the Democrats and Republicans on the Bankruptcy Reform Bill Conference Report.
Thursday, Dec. 7: From 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. , four designated Senators will have 30 minutes each for debate they include: Hatch, Grassley, Wellstone and Leahy.
Final passage,Thursday, Dec. 7: At 4:00 p.m. there will be a vote on final passage of the bankruptcy reform conference report H.R. 2415.
While the White House has vowed to veto the current Bankruptcy Reform measure, there has been speculation lately that the President may sign this anti-consumer measure, to avoid a much tougher bill that could be passed in a subsequent administration. Time will only tell.
