J. Thomas Black was quoted in an article entitled “Bankruptcy Reform Bill in Jeopardy,” in the Sept. 19, 2002 Houston Chronicle.
In speaking against the Bankruptcy reform bill presently pending in Congress, Mr. Black was quoted as saying: “One of the intentions of the bill is to artifically stop people from filing for bankruptcy. It’s similar to closing the hospitals so there won’t be any more sick people.”
