If you have a “sub-prime” or high interest, high cost mortgage loan, you should read “In the Subprime of Life” article in the recent issue of The Houston Press. The author has done some amazingly good research, and really understands how the subprime mortgage industry works. Not only that, but he tells the story of one of Litton Loan’s own employees here in the Houston Texas area, that had a sub-prime loan, got into trouble through no fault of her own, and after she became delinquent on her loan, was let go.
