If you are in a Chapter 13 case now, don’t be alarmed that you cannot reach the Trustee’s offices, or if the online records are not entirely up to date. They are having to shut down their offices and backup their computer systems, ahead of Hurricane Ike, which is headed for the Houston area. Payments are still being logged into the bank in Memphis TN, but the Trustee’s records may not reflect your payments for another couple of days, in addition to the usual time period required to log them in. Depending on the effects of the storm, the Trustee’s offices should be open again on Monday.
